All American Homes
Systems-Built
Every home is made up of systems. The obvious ones are a heating and air conditioning system, a plumbing system or an electrical system. We think in terms of floor, wall, and roof systems as well. By engineering these components into one integrated system, we can achieve remarkable levels of precision and quality in our homes. Thus the term Systems-Built.
Many people use the term “modular” to describe our building methods. While this term is technically correct it is a little dated. However, it does not really matter what you call us, the important thing is that you do not confuse an All American home with what is commonly thought of as manufactured housing.
Manufactured housing is generally perceived as mobile homes and trailers and is built on steel frames to entirely different codes. This is NOT what we build at All American Homes. An All American home is real estate, just like any site-built home.
Our homes are built in state-of-the-art construction facilities. We use computerized saws for precision cuts. Jig systems ensure that our floors, walls and roof trusses are straight and true. We use expandable foam adhesive to install ceiling drywall to the roof system. This method is stronger than nails and screws and you never have a nail or screw pop in a ceiling with no nails or screws. These are just a few of the many construction advantages we have over a site-built home.
What is the "System-built Advantage? Why is a system-built home better for you than typical home built stick-by-stick outdoors?
- We maintain a steady and constant home construction team throughout the year. Our steadily employed workforce (compared with short-term crews hired for stick-built homes) helps ensure quality measures are maintained every step of the way.
- Your home is not delayed by weather, construction workforce issues, or materials delays. We are able to deliver a home to your site in 8-10 weeks, resulting in faster completion time and less interest expense on your construction loan..
- All American's purchasing power of ordering materials for 20 to 35 homes each week offers it first pick in the lumber market and volume purchasing discounts.
- During Systems-Built construction, building materials are stored indoors and are not subject to bad weather for lengthy periods of time.
- Finally, every All American Home is third-party inspected in our facility prior to the standard on-site inspections.
- Systems-Built homes are computer engineered to meet all national, state & local building standards.
- Systems-Built homes typically use 20% to 30% more material in the framing to insure a safe and secure trip to its destination.
- Glue is used along with nails and screws for a more solid assembly.
- Greater detail is given to the layout & strength of the floor, since this is what will carry the weight of the rest of the home as it travels to a site.
- Full time craftsmen who are constantly supervised by quality control experts at each stage of the construction process
- Indoor storage of materials eliminates theft and vandalism that a outdoor construction sites can face.
